Wedding Favours: A Planning Guide

Small-batch soy-wax favours that your guests will actually keep. Quantities, timings, personalisation, and packaging.

Wedding favours are one of the few details every guest touches. A candle favour has weight, scent, and a second life on a mantelpiece or dressing table. It is not discarded after the evening. Quantity is the first decision. Order one favour per guest. Couples who order extras for the top table, welcome bags, or bridal party gifts should add those quantities upfront so the whole order runs in one batch. Timing matters more than most couples expect. Favours are made in small batches and each batch takes time for pouring, cooling, finishing, labelling, and packing. Eight weeks before the wedding is the sweet spot for placing a favour order. Four weeks is the minimum for standard quantities. Personalisation can be subtle. A colour that matches the palette, a ribbon in the wedding tone, or a simple label with the date and the couple's names. We do not print on the wax itself — the finish is left clean so the candle maintains its character after the wedding is over. Packaging is included. Each favour is hand-wrapped in tissue and finished with ribbon, ready to place on tables or add to guest bags. Collection from 52 Ormskirk Road is available, or we ship to any UK address ahead of the wedding date.
