Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn. Allow the wax pool to reach the edge on the first light — this prevents tunnelling and extends the life of the candle.
Burn for no longer than four hours at a time. Keep away from draughts, curtains, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Stop burning when 10 mm of wax remains. The vessel can be cleaned and repurposed once the candle is finished.
Delivery and collection+
UK delivery is available on all orders. Free standard delivery on orders over £60. Orders are packed carefully in gift-appropriate tissue and outer packaging.
Local collection is available from the Maison de Lumière studio at 52 Ormskirk Road, St Helens, WA10 2TF. Select collection at checkout and we will confirm a time by message.
How it is made+
Each piece is hand-poured in small batches by Mihaela at the St Helens studio using natural soy wax and candle-safe fragrance. Colour, ribbon, and finishing are applied by hand around each order.
Because every candle is made to order, minor variations in colour and finish are part of the handmade character of the piece.
